XTAR battery once again showcased its outstanding performance in the field of technology. At the STEAM GreenMesh Competition held in New Taipei City, Taiwan on March 16, 2024, a participant, with exceptional creativity and technical skills, combined with the use of XTAR 1.5V AA 4150mWh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, successfully clinched the first place in the project of GreenMesh JR. Programmer.
In this project, participants utilized building blocks and electronic components to construct their robots and programmed them to complete various complex tasks, such as traversing obstacles, constructing structures, and executing specific actions. To respond quickly and flexibly to these tasks, the various components of the robots required continuous and stable voltage and current to ensure they could accurately and promptly receive instructions and perform corresponding actions.
The champion skillfully leveraged the advantages of the XTAR 1.5V AA 4150mWh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. As a new generation of rechargeable AA lithium-ion battery, it can continuously and steadily output 1.5V voltage, with a maximum current of 2A, and boasts a capacity of up to 2500mAh (4150mWh energy). Such outstanding performance enabled the robot to maintain efficient operation throughout the competition, successfully completing various tasks, and achieving excellent results. In contrast, most opponents used disposable alkaline batteries, characterized by a gradual decrease in voltage and current during discharge, resulting in fluctuating robot performance and subsequent power inadequacies.
As a crucial aspect of power supply, XTAR batteries successfully met the stable power supply requirements of the building block programming robots, providing reliable support for participants to showcase their outstanding creativity and technical skills.
